Nawar Sukkar & Company, NASCO. Originally, the purpose of the company was to serve the petroleum companies and their subcontractors who were working in Syria. Services provided included: oilfield services, construction of drilling sites and access roads, manpower, catering services, rig moves, customs clearance, transportation and supplies. The scope of work expanded dramatically to include the representation of companies with various backgrounds and specializations in oilfield services.  

The substantial growth of the company was mainly due to the high professionalism demonstrated at the early stage of establishment.  Eventually, the scope of work included public tenders announced by the government which led to further cooperation with international petroleum companies.

Today, NASCO has a substantial share of the oil services market and represents several major international companies in the Oil, Electrical and Mineral Resources sectors. We also provide consulting services to the companies operating in the petroleum sector. NASCO has therefore established a solid track record of success when working with major petroleum exploration and production companies.

Given our scope of work, we have developed our own Health Safety Environment, HSE, Policy and Plan which all of our employees are trained in understanding and applying in order to ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance Standards. Furthermore, all of our subcontractors are required to know, to understand, and to apply our HSE Policy as it is an integral part of our business.
